微软兑现诺言 向Windows 7测试者发放免费正版

微软今天发出电子邮件，向Windows 7和Server 2008的技术测试计划参与者提供免费的Windows 7最终零售版。

这一版本将在未来的4-6周内送达，大多数都会通过联邦快递完成，而美国之外的人们可能会收到支付关税或其他地方税的账单，今年七月，微软决定效仿Vista发布时的规矩，向测试反馈者们免费提供Windows正版拷贝作为答谢，只有被邀请者才有资格--公开下载的测试版无此殊荣。内含信件全文：

Update on Your Free Windows 7 Commemorative Boxed Copy

Dear [removed],

At this time we would like to update our participants on the status of your boxed copy of Windows 7. We have received the commemorative boxed copies and will begin shipments to you next week. Once you receive them we think you'll agree that they will be worth the wait!

Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Please note that we will not be providing tracking numbers to participants. Most shipments should arrive via Fed-Ex although this will vary by locale. No deliveries will require a signature. People outside the United States may be required to pay duties or other local taxes upon receipt.
